Class warfare

So let me get this straight, the entire Global system and the operations of a country are brought to their knees by a number of individuals known to the Government and the Nation but nothing is done to punish them. To correct the situation the answer is go after those that helped the culprits by screwing them to the born.

Let me speak clearly on the lessons I have learnt from the Conservatives

1. If you screw up and you are a Corporation you deserve help & to keep your contracted bonus
2. Corporations will get the full cover of any Republican in power
3. Teachers & anyone in a Union get another job because Republicans don't like you
4. Its okay for the teachers to sacrifice not CEO in the private sector
5. Tax cuts are for Corporations not working people
6 Fox News only supports people who create jobs and support their campaigns not the middle class.

It does not make sense to say that the Wall Street guys had bonuses therefore the bonus must be honored but for the Teachers who took pay cuts over the year and were promised the benefits instead, well that contract should not be honored. Who cares about teachers contracts and union workers, they support the Democrats so to hell with them right?

Tell me this, why should teachers be paid just $51000.00 a year when they are responsible for bring p the CEOs that run Wall Street? If what is going on in Wisconsin is truly about the budget then here is something for the Governor to Consider

1. To balance a budget in a recession needs time
2. You cannot balance the budget withe low revenues to the Government.
3. Raise taxes on Corporations not the consumers

It is a ruthless to take money from hard working people and give it to big Corporations all in the name to jobs and yet the people you give the money to do not invest it back into the system. Do not punish the tax payer.

Middle East vs The Classic West

World leaders have hit the overdrive button trying to gather information and how to deal with the unrest in the Middle East, what some call Diplomacy is not hard at work thinking how to get Libya stable. As the saying goes ” Everyone has a dog in the race” and the people who have no dogs in the race suffer great pain.

America is in support of the people, well at least that is what they are saying publicly. What gets under my skin the most is how the choosing of who deserves support is derived. I used to be of the school of thought that the selection is arrived by looking at humanitarian grounds and assisting those under oppressive regimes, I was so wrong. The question everyone asks is “what benefit will we get is we support these people”?

Is it a coincidence that the Countries that many a great nation intervene and help are rich with resources like say um oil? Lets go back in time, President Bush Sr had the first Gulf War and guess what Kuwait has, yap, oil. Iraq and now Libya, is it because someone really cares about the people? Let me be clear, Somalia, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Congo and many other African Nations have suffered a great deal and required help from America and the World over but they hardly make the news with the exception of the Pirate issues off the Somalian coast that make the headlines.

In 2007 President Bush Jr gave Mugabe an ultimatum and guess what, it was a well crafted speech so that the World can hear some political wise statement to protect himself from backlash. Mugabe is still in power and is pulling every single ounce of power he has to make trouble for the Libyan people.

Last Week Mugabe allegedly provided army support staff for embattled Libyan leader. With a Military that can out fight any nation out there and the best trained African fighter jet pilots at his disposal, Mugabe sent out enough personal to make sure trouble & terror remain on the streets of Libya. What disappoints me the most is the fact that Hillary Clinton and the American leaders can actually entertain letting Gaddafi move to Zimbabwe just so that Libya is free.

Instead of putting pressure on all who would want to harbor this brutal man including Mugabe, the idea is on the table for Gaddafi to ease into Zimbabwe. Its time all these so called Presidents who support dictators account for their stupid political games. You cannot be against a dictator who does not do what you want so that you can usher in one you can control, if you are for Democracy stop supporting those who do wrong to people. Mubarak, Gaddafi and many more have been friends of the West at one point when they were brutalizing their own people. Evil is evil no what who carries it out or the degree of how intense it is.

Aide

With the uprising in Egypt comes the review of aide that the US gives, why is the question. I suppose with Mubaraki being a debatable figure why support the people right, my thoughts would be to suspend all aide.

Yes the US has been supporting many nations and has very good friends in Israel and Egypt but lets face it, the US is broke. Over and over we hear that the US is the greatest economy but what many fail or afraid to say is that being the great economy does not make it the richest. The Country is in debt and borrowing to support other nations is not doing the taxpayers any favors. Many politicians state that families are have to do with little and readjust their budgets, well its time the Government make tough choices

Supporting other nations with borrowed money makes as much sense as using an expired passport to travel, at one point someone will detain you. Lets address it as it is, the largest economy simply means they are many consumers in the nation than any other nation, it does not mean that it has the most money. The Country could soon drown in debt, there is a point to say even to friends “sorry I cannot support you, I need to put my house in order” and that is what needs to happen now.

Opinions

The false idea that lingers out there is that just because someone has a show and they have an opinion they are always right. There is nothing more wrong than that assertion, this has been lost in translation.

We have now created a society that believes everything anyone with a megaphones says, we follow the one with the loudest voice even if he/she is wrong It is so true, “in the absence of water in the desert, people will drink sand”. I used to think that people will drink the sand because they have no choice, now I know they drink the sand because they do not know the difference.

How I wish people would first put to the test what they are told before they make up their minds. Again, the loudest voice is not always the most honest and correct.

Guns, Guns, Guns

Imagine walking into Walmart for shopping, not for groceries but for ammunition, imagine just how that sounds, ammunition for a gun in a Walmart shop.

I was born in Africa, a gun is something that I would ever see on a Police Officer or Soldier and that was on TV. I am by no means primitive and I am surely as clever and bright as they come. You would be ignorant to call me a Liberal and an idiot if you ever thought I was Conservative, let me say that I do not carry a label. I am what I need to be when I need to be defined.

I am taking issue with the Gun issue in America, while I respect each Countries right to be unique and be themselves, they are issues no matter what Country they occur in that need to be addressed in any Country.

A Gun is a very dangerous tool, that is why it is used in wars, it is meant for harm not good. The most amazing thing in America is how the debate is on “if gun laws should be addressed” rather than “why need a gun anyhow”?

For me the fundamental question is why would one need a gun in a Country that is so great? Remember where I grew up, I have never felt at peace each time I visit America and pass through a fight. Its so scary to know that you can buy ammunition in a grocery shop, that is really scary. Who is your enemy? I really wonder what people think a gun is for.

In my books, if you are not a hunter, policemen/women, game ranger or soldier, you have no business carrying a gun. If it is defense in the case of burglary, get an alarm, if the gun is for when you are invaded, join the arm. Why a civilian would want to keep a gun in a free Country is beyond me, I am really not getting a valid reason why people should own guns with the exception of the groups I mentioned above.

Someone told me that America loves war that is why they have a very large army and own guns, then I did not even agree but now I believe it to be true. My vision of America has changes over the years, I am slowly losing respect for how business is done in the States, it does not display the greatness of the Country we all looked up to.
